Ja’Duke driving school seeks to educate student drivers to be safe, conscientious, and well informed.  We will use various teaching practices to reach all students and their learning abilities.  We want every student to succeed and become a licensed driver in Massachusetts. #PreparingStudentsForTheRoadAhead
 
 
Education
Ja’Duke drivers education consists of 30 hours of classroom instruction, 12 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction, 6 hours of observing another student driver, and the 2 hour parent class.  Students may begin drivers education classes at the age of 15 years 9 months and begin driving lessons at the age of 16 with a valid driver’s permit. I understand that upon successful completion of the Massachusetts minimum requirements listed above my certification for the course will be processed through the the RMV and can be reviewed online. 
 
Payment
Ja’Duke drivers education course is $625.00 for the full course.This includes classroom instruction, 12 driving lessons and 6observation hours with a state certified driving instructor.  $250 deposit will be due at the beginning of the classroom portion and $375 will be due in order to begin signing up for driving time. Cash, check, and credit card payments are accepted. 
 
Classroom Policies
-Students classroom payment of $250 must be paid in full in order to begin classroom time.
-Students must arrive on time for class. After 10 minutes, a student will be considered absent from that module and will have to make it up. 
-All student’s phones will be placed in the designated area during class time and can be taken out for breaks/lunch
-Students are expected to be respectful and to participate in all activities. If this expectation is not met, students will be asked to leave and will not receive credit for their classroom time. 
-Students must receive a score of at least 80 on the final exam to pass the course.
-The Final exam is 100 questions and is multiple choice.  
 
Driving Time Policies
-Students must bring their permit to their driving lesson and observations. If a student forgets their permit their lesson will be rescheduled. 
-If applicable, students must wear/bring their corrective lenses/glasses to their driving lesson
-Students must be at the designated pick-up area at their scheduled time. If you are unable to make it to your scheduled driving lesson, please see cancellation policy below. 
-No phones are allowed during driving time or observation and if taken out the driving time will be immediately terminated. 
-Students driving lesson payment of $625 must be paid in full in order to begin their driving time.
-Parents/Guardians are required to drive with their student for at least 40 hours outside of their instructed driving time. 
-It is recommended that students have driven at least 10 hours with parents/guardian hours before they come for their first lesson. 
 
Driving Lesson Cancellation
If students are unable to attend their scheduled driving time a 24-hour advanced notice is required. If a student does not show up to their scheduled driving time a $50 fee will be due and will need to be paid before any other driving lessons can be given.
